The Beaverton Library's South Lawn is an excellent location for performing Shakespeare! It is located in a central part of Beaverton that is easily accessible by car, bus or train. The lawn is spacious and wide, and quieter than our former location at the Beaverton Round.
We recommend that you bring a chair or blanket and a canopy of some kind to protect you from the blistering sun as there is no shade on the lawn except under the trees on the south end of the lawn, which is the opposite side of the performing area.
All shows are PAY WHAT YOU WILL - we recommend $10 per person if you are able to afford it!
RESERVED SEATS AVAILABLE NOW!
For those who would prefer to have a chair waiting for them, and to check out all the other comfort packages we are offering, please click below. Free seating available for handicapped companions.
All ages! Bring the whole family, but out of respect for our actors & other audience members, please leave your pets at home. Service animals allowed.
We encourage picnics, blankets, and chairs on the lawn. Note that there is NO SHADE on the lawn, so be sure to bring a canopy of some kind to help shelter you from the sun, and wear sunscreen!
Concessions available before and during the performance include bottled water, iced coffee, sweets and nuts
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to curtain to ensure your space on the lawn
Complimentary handicapped seats available for handicapped companions by reservation or first come first serve. The library lawn has no stairs, but it is a lawn, so we encourage to exercise caution on the uneven terrain that is the lawn
Parking available on the street during library hours, or in the east or west lots on Friday nights. Public transportation available via TriMet
Please be respectful of the lawn and do not leave your litter for others to clean up
