The Queen’s Feast: Return of the Monarch presented an interactive dining experience where guests felt as though they were a part of a real traditional Tudor feast, with just a little splash of intrigue for the invited guests... are you a loyalist or a rebel?

Queen Elizabeth I is preparing her speech to the troops in Tilbury, who will defend England from the Spanish Armada. She stopped at the Aveley residence to have dinner prior to her big day at the coast. The Aveley family worked hard to transform a large barn to a festive party for the queen.
Throughout the dinner, the courses were presented theatrically, accompanied by a traditional madrigal song performed by a quartet of singers. Special guest William Shakespeare and his Chamberlain's Men performed some works in progress. Los Grillos, a charming Renaissance band, strummed away beautiful music of the time, and an executioner punished those who offended the queen.
