PROJECTS IN THE PIPE:

OCTOBER 29 and 30: Our gala October event returns with The Rise of Houdini: Return of the Master, featuring a 1920s cocktail hour with gourmet hors d'oeuvres and themed classic beverages, burlesque show, and a theatrical presentation of the séance to raise the "GOAT" of the magic world, Harry Houdini. Tickets on sale on September 1, 2021. Note: proof of vaccination and/or proof of a negative test will be required for admission. We are following Broadway's lead on this. More info

COMING DECEMBER 18: A livestream revival of A Drunk Christmas Carol! Watch this irreverent story told by a bunch of nit wits from the comfort of your home OR live!

COMING WINTER 2022:  A brand new immersive presentation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic work: Great Gatsby's Daisy. Because there are two sides to every story.

Keep the spirit of live theater alive! Consider a small donation today so we may continue to bring beautiful stories to life and remind everyone that theatre is beautiful and necessary.

Experience Theatre Project specializes in live, innovative storytelling  both online and live on the (far) west side of Portland. We strive to create imaginative stories told in an innovative style. Our goal is to give you an experience, and a story that takes place all around you, not unlike a haunted house or a Disney experience.

Our experiences take place in unconventional  spaces, such as a storefront, lodge, or winery.  But due to COVID-19, we've had to suspend live events and move our experiences here, online. Our first online performance was Turn of the Screw in May, 2020, and performed No Exit in July, 2020. Neither performance was a "Zoom" performance, rather an innovative direct stream production juxtaposing actors remotely so as to appear to be in the same space.

In summer, 2021, we proudly celebrated our return to live theater with THE WESTSIDE SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, featuring the comedy The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). We have learned to be careful in these pandemic times, so we will continue to forge ahead with our in-person programming, but we will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of our events, so as to keep everyone safe at our indoor shows.

Check out our past events at our GALLERY page.  We are extremely proud of the productions we have under our belts, and the amazing talent of the designers, performers, and crew who worked so hard to make such amazing art.
